Reuver es un pueblo en el norte de la provincia neerlandesa de Limburgo que forma parte del municipio de Beesel. Tiene aproximadamente 11,005 habitantes, con una densidad de población de 746 hab./km². Reuver, el núcleo más joven dentro de la comunidad de Beesel y Belfeld, se mencionó por primera vez en 1547. El nombre se deriva de la posada De Rover, una designación medieval para ave rapaz. En documentos posteriores, la posada, presumiblemente equipada con un letrero que mostraba un águila, también fue denominada por los viajeros como 'Aquila' y 'la Noire Aigle'.
