El Ayuntamiento de Gennep se encuentra en el Mercado de Gennep y fue construido entre 1612 y 1620 bajo la dirección de Willem van Bommel de Emmerik. El edificio está diseñado en el estilo renacentista del Bajo Rin con una monumental torre de escaleras octogonal. Ya no se utiliza como ayuntamiento. Junto con la Casa de San Pedro, la oficina municipal, la antigua torre de la iglesia de San Martín y la iglesia reformada neerlandesa en el Mercado, el ayuntamiento forma una parte importante de la imagen de Gennep.
