Polderes, diques, zonas de aliviado, granjas escondidas entre el verde, pequeños pueblos de iglesia dormidos y pintorescos puertos deportivos, estrechos caminos serpenteantes a través de la zona de dunas y, como colofón, la hermosa ciudad medieval de Goedereede, una vez hogar del único Papa neerlandés, Adriano VI.
Todo esto forma, en resumen, la atmósfera de las islas originalmente separadas de Goeree y Overflakkee. Hasta el siglo XV, incluso Overflakkee consistía en varias islitas.
La primera parte del recorrido se dirige hacia el este.
Almuerzo, por ejemplo, agradable en el puerto de Oude Tonge.
Por la tarde, el recorrido se dirige nuevamente hacia el oeste y atraviesas la zona de dunas de Goeree.
Si tienes un poco de tiempo, haz una breve caminata por la joya medieval de Goedereede.
