La Galería de Arte 291 o Galería 291 fue una galería de arte situada en el número 291 de la quinta avenida de Nueva York. Fue creada y gestionada por Alfred Stieglitz y en ella se realizaron las exposiciones más importantes del movimiento fotográfico denominado Photo-Secession. La galería estuvo funcionando entre 1905 y 1917.[1]
Se considera la primera galería de arte que permitió proporcionar la consideración de arte a la fotografía y es la primera que se abrió en Estados Unidos. Expusieron artistas de vanguardia como Henri Matisse, Auguste Rodin, Henri Rousseau, Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, Constantin Brancusi, Francis Picabia y Marcel Duchamp y entre los fotógrafos se encuentran Edward Steichen, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Gertrude Kasebier y Clarence H. White.[2]
