La muerte de Michael Brown se produjo el 9 de agosto de 2014 en Ferguson, en la periferia de San Luis, estado de Misuri, Estados Unidos. Brown, de 18 años, murió después de ser abatido por tiros disparados por Darren Wilson, 28, un agente de policía.
En septiembre de 2014, Eric Holder, el fiscal general de los Estados Unidos lanzó una investigación federal del departamento de policía de Misuri para examinar si los agentes habían mostrado discriminación racial o empleado fuerza excesiva.[1]
