La Belgique est sans aucun doute le pays des frites. Mais il est en fait venu de France. Les frites ont été introduites en Belgique en 1838 par l’Allemand Fritz Krieger, qui à son tour l’a apprise à Paris auprès des Français. L’introduction a eu lieu à la foire, où la plupart des gens ont appris à connaître le monde extérieur à l’époque. Krieger a connu un tel succès avec sa friterie qu’il a également créé la première chaîne de friteries. Ajoutez une autre portion de moules aux frites et vous avez vraiment un classique que vous devez essayer.
