En 2004, la piscine couverte la plus profonde du monde a ici ouvert ses portes : 33 mètres de profondeur! Entre-temps, de nombreuses piscines plus profondes ont été construites dans le monde, mais Nemo 33 reste toujours une référence dans le monde de la plongée sous-marine. Nemo 33 reste également innovant. Vous pouvez par exemple y dîner ou lire une bande dessinée... sous l'eau. Une piscine de 24 m de profondeur a également été aménagée à l'extérieur. En raison de litiges concernant les permis, cette section n'a pas encore pu être ouverte au public, mais vous pouvez observer ce bassin depuis le vélo.
