À l’entrée du Chemin-de-Messe, un sentier pavé qui grimpe à flanc de coteau jusqu’à l’ancienne église Saint-Étienne-au-Mont, se dresse un Christ en croix en bois, peut-être du XIVe siècle. Restauré en certains endroits (bras), il repose sur un socle mouluré et est abrité sous un auvent en forme d’arc brisé, surmonté d’une croix de pierre. Cet aménagement pourrait dater de 1886 si on en croit le chronogramme « pItIe MIserICorDe seIg(n)euVr eXaVCez-noVs faIbLes peCheVrs ».
Classé comme monument le 1er août 1933
