L’Athénée royal d'Arlon est un établissement d’enseignement secondaire général de la Communauté française de Belgique situé à Arlon. Il compte aussi une école maternelle et primaire ainsi qu'un internat mixte rattachés aux bâtiments principaux.
L'Athénée royal d'Arlon est l'un des dix plus anciens athénées royaux de Belgique. Une école moyenne est tout d'abord crée puis un collège communal en 1837. Ce collège se fait nommer Athénée royal en 1842 puis est repris par l'État neuf ans plus tard. L'école moyenne, qui était mixe, commence à être transformée en un Lycée royal pour jeune filles en 1948. Ce lycée sera fusionné avec l'Athénée en 1981 sous la seule dénomination d'Athénée royal d'Arlon puis déménagera vers la rue de Sesselich en 1987. Le dernier changement en date se passe en 1996 lorsque l'établissement annexera l'École d'Application.
