L'une des attractions de Schilde est le domaine communal de Schildehof. C'est un domaine château historique avec plusieurs aspects : un paysage de parc avec étang, une vaste forêt, une orangerie, des jardins aménagés, etc. Sur le domaine, on trouve notamment le jardin de Dodoens, une reconstruction du jardin renaissance du seizième siècle, avec des herbes du Cruydeboeck (de 1554) de Rembert Dodoens. Le jardin de Dodoens a été développé sur le jardin potager du château du Baron Van de Werve. 12 petits jardins sont entourés de Taxus, une copie du Begijnhof de Breda avec ses 12 béguines. Il y a aussi un jardin apicole et un parc naturel avec une dizaine de paysages différents.
