Depuis le pont du Grand Vivier (qui deviendra plus tard le Ruisseau d’Heure), nous montons jusqu’à la place de l’Église. Nous suivons l’ancienne route d’Heure à la chapelle Saint-Donat en longeant le bois de Saumonts sur une route goudronnée, nous passons les Minières et prenons une route de campagne jusqu’au lieu-dit « Le Paradis ». Un ancien chemin de pierre d’ardoise nous mène à la croix de Maillard. Par la route du Champ du Bois, nous traversons la forêt des Sarts. Au bout de la forêt, nous avons une vue sur le village. La promenade est longue de 6 km.
