Le village de Wezemaal, tout comme cette promenade, est consacré à la viticulture. Sur les flancs sud du Wijngaardberg, il regorge de vignes protégées par le mur viticole en pierre de fer. Les pubs servent la fierté locale et, le dernier samedi d'août, tout le village fait la fête à l'occasion du festival du vin de Wezemaal. Au centre des visiteurs du vin Hageland, vous apprendrez tout sur cette boisson fraîche des dieux.
