En 2008, Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Lombeek a été finaliste du concours "Plus beau village de Flandre". Il s'agissait autrefois d'un important lieu de pèlerinage et, dans les années 1960, le Hertboommolen a servi de décor à la série télévisée Kapitein Zeppos. Vous vous promenez à travers les champs vallonnés et quelques beaux chemins creux autour de Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Lombeek. L'église gothique Onze-Lieve-Vrouw et le moulin à vent Hertboommolen attirent l'attention.
