Cette carrière de sable est une ancienne carrière de grès, qui était autrefois utilisée pour l'extraction de quartz, connue sous le nom de glorieux sable blanc de Molser. C'est un endroit où les randonneurs peuvent pleinement profiter de la magnifique grande mer intérieure avec toute sa flore et sa faune, ainsi que des environs tant en hiver qu'en été. Sur ce sentier de randonnée, on rencontre de nombreux sites remarquables.
