18 km de marche à travers un morceau de Hainaut qui est resté incroyablement agricole malgré l’exploitation minière et l’industrie, avec de nombreuses belles routes non pavées à travers la forêt et les champs. Un incontournable, entre Mons et La Louvière, deux villes que l’on n’associe pas tout de suite au plaisir de la marche. Les terrils en arrière-plan complètent le tableau. Bon à savoir : 79% des routes suivies ne sont pas goudronnées, allant des belles routes forestières aux routes de campagne où seule l’alouette s’en approche.
