Schloss Eberberg est un domaine majestueux situé à la périphérie d’Emmishofen, un quartier de Kreuzlingen. Mentionné pour la première fois dans un document au 16ème siècle sous le nom d’Ober-Girsberg, il a appartenu à Johann Nepomuk Sauter, Eberhard von Zeppelin et Friedrich Flick à différentes époques.
Le château d’Ebersberg a été mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1530, lorsque le commerçant de longue distance de Constance Niclaus I. de Gall-Aigen a acquis le domaine, qui s’appelait alors encore Ober-Girsberg. Le père de De Gall, Bernhardin de Gall, originaire de Côme, s’était installé à Constance et y avait acquis la citoyenneté en 1501. Au cours de la Réforme, Andrea de Gall vendit le domaine. Il entra au service du landgrave de Hesse et est l’ancêtre de la famille Hessian von Gall.
