Le High Trail classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO est un itinéraire alpin (balisé blanc-bleu-blanc) adapté uniquement aux randonneurs expérimentés sans vertige. Il offre une vue imprenable sur le grand glacier d’Aletsch et le site du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO Alpes suisses Jungfrau-Aletsch. Du sud, vous avez une vue spectaculaire sur les vallées du Rhône et de Binn et les Alpes valaisannes! La randonnée de la gare d’arrivée du téléphérique de Bettmeralp au téléphérique d’Eggishorn dure 3 heures. La randonnée de la station de téléphérique au Bettmerhorn dure 30 minutes. De là, il est long de 1,5 km de la crête, après quoi les randonneurs rencontrent une descente raide (cordes fixes pour aider) à Elselücke. Un bon sentier de randonnée mène ensuite à la station de téléphérique d’Eggishorn, env. 45 min.
