La zone de protection paysagère Rosengarten–Kiekeberg–Stuvenwald s'étend sur les collines de Harburg de Neu Wulmstorf et de la frontière avec Hambourg au nord jusqu'à Buchholz dans la Nordheide dans le district de Harburg en Basse-Saxe. Elle se situe donc dans les communes de Neu Wulmstorf, Wenzendorf, Rosengarten et Seevetal, dans la communauté de Hollenstedt, ainsi que dans la ville de Buchholz dans la Nordheide.
Avec sa première désignation en 1965, la LSG fait partie des plus anciennes zones protégées du district.
Une zone centrale d'une importance particulière a été désignée comme NSG forêts de hêtres dans le Rosengarten.
