Le Reichssicherheitsdienst , ou Service de sécurité du Reich, était une force de sécurité du Troisième Reich, chargée de protéger Adolf Hitler, ainsi que, durant les dernières années du régime, les principaux dignitaires nazis. Ce service, bien qu'ayant un nom similaire, était distinct du Sicherheitsdienst , le service de renseignements de la SS et du parti nazi. Le RSD était dirigé par le SS-Gruppenführer Johann Rattenhuber.
Le RSD a été formé le 15 mars 1933 sous le nom de « Führerschutzkommando », ou « commando de protection du Führer », pour garantir sa sécurité en Bavière, en dehors de laquelle Hitler était déjà protégé par ses huit gardes du corps du SS-Begleitkommando des Führers.
