Möhringen est une station thermale climatique agréée par l’État sur le Danube supérieur dans le Bade-Wurtemberg et est un quartier de Tuttlingen depuis 1973.
Möhringen est situé à 651 m d’altitude entre le lac de Constance, le Jura souabe et le Baar dans la vallée du jeune Danube et est entouré principalement de grandes forêts. Avec 3029 hectares, la superficie communale de Möhringen est presque aussi grande que celle de la ville centrale de Tuttlingen ou, par exemple, celle de la ville d’Offenbach, dont près des trois quarts sont boisés.
