Badonviller [badɔ̃vile] est une commune française située dans le département de Meurthe-et-Moselle, en région Grand Est. Ses 1 553 habitants sont appelés les Badonvillois et les Badonvilloises. Village anciennement industriel, connu pour sa faïencerie, Badonviller est depuis la loi du 8 juillet 1879 le chef-lieu du canton de Badonviller regroupant 12 communes, après scission du canton de Baccarat. Elle fait également partie de la communauté de communes du Badonvillois depuis sa création le 6 décembre 2001.
