Il est remarquable de penser que l’ancien village fortifié de Fourcès était l’un des domaines les plus importants de la Gascogne au Moyen Âge. Le château au milieu du village devait être impressionnant. Aujourd’hui, c’est un endroit calme, plein de maisons à colombages pittoresques.
