Rydal Water est l'un des plus petits lacs du Lake District anglais dans le comté de Cumbria. Il tire son nom du village voisin de Rydal, entre Grasmere et Ambleside. Le lac est alimenté par la rivière Rothay, qui relie Rydal Water au lac légèrement plus grand de Grasmere et au grand Windermere. Un ancien nom pour le lac, Rothaymere, fait référence à la rivière.
