Vathi est divisé en deux parties de part et d'autre de l'église. La connexion se fait par un très joli et petit corridor sous les maisons qui sont reliées à l'église. Il offre un abri frais contre le soleil brûlant. Vérifiez le matériel utilisé pour le toit. Cela ressemble à du bambou mais est appelé Arundi donax. Comme le bambou, c'est une sorte de grande herbe qui pousse ici dans la vallée de Vathi et dans de nombreuses autres vallées humides en Grèce.
