Loenen (néerlandais : Loen) est un village de la commune d'Apeldoorn dans la province néerlandaise de Gelderland. Loenen se compose de deux parties, qui étaient autrefois connues sous les noms de Lona et Sulvalda (le quartier actuel de Zilven). Ces noms datent déjà de 838. Loenen était une commune indépendante jusqu'en 1818, date à laquelle elle a été incorporée à la commune d'Apeldoorn.[1] Du 2 juillet 1887 au 1er août 1950, Loenen avait la gare de Loenen, une station de chemin de fer sur la ligne ferroviaire Dieren - Apeldoorn. De nos jours, il y a un arrêt de la Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij. Juste à côté se trouve l'ancien complexe de mobilisation de Veldhuizen.
