C'est un monastère de la secte Karma Pa au centre du village.
Le monastère a été construit il y a plus de 200 ans . Branche de la fondation de la secte Karma Pa Kagyut Pa de Samteling du Mustang, elle est connue sous le nom de Samteling Gompa de Marpha. Le monastère présente des statues d'Amitabha (Bouddha rouge), Chenresig (Avalokiteswora), Channa Dhorje (Vajrapani) et Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava) ainsi que d'autres divinités et de belles fresques.
Les visiteurs peuvent découvrir Dhekep , une danse masquée exécutée par des moines en octobre/novembre.
