Nonostante la sua modesta altezza, il Poelberg ha già sorpreso molti ciclisti domenicali. Lunghezza 430m con una pendenza media del 7,3% e poco prima della cima 10%
Alla base del Poelberg si trova l'area boschiva e naturale "De Meikensbossen"
