La Nonnemolen è un antico mulino ad acqua situato in Watermolenstraat a Leupegem. La Nonnemolen ha una lunga storia. È conosciuto un atto del 6 settembre 1296 in cui le monache dell'abbazia di Maagdendale a Oudenaarde acquistarono il mulino. Questo spiega anche il nome del mulino.
Intorno al 1580, durante la Ribellione, il mulino fu distrutto. Nel 1586 ci fu la ricostruzione.
Il 2 marzo 1990 il mulino è stato protetto come monumento. Nel 2000 il mulino ha subito un restauro che ne ha riportato la capacità molitoria, durante il quale è stata rinnovata la ruota idraulica. Tuttavia, la ruota superiore in ferro è ancora in uno stato di degrado. Oggi, la precedente abitazione è allestita come un'osteria rurale che è accessibile ogni weekend.
Il mulino possiede eccezionalmente, oltre a una ruota idraulica (la grande ruota d'acqua), anche una seconda ruota piccola, una ruota superiore. Questo rende il mulino unico nelle Fiandre poiché può essere utilizzato sia ad alta che a bassa marea. È il Maarkebeek che fornisce l'energia per il mulino.
