Questa carriera, inattiva nel 2002 (progetto di ripresa dell'estrazione), è composta da un'escavazione lunga oltre 400 m e da un settore di scarpate esteso, colonizzato da una vegetazione di detriti a Rumex scutatus e Sedum album. Le poche pozzette e pozzanghere temporanee sul fondo dell'escavazione presentano un interesse per gli anfibi (Alytes obstetricans). Le parti asciutte del sito ospitano il Lucertola delle mura.
