Si può partire dalla bella chiesa di Sint-Waldetrudis con il ampio parcheggio di fronte alla chiesa o dalla stazione di Herentals, in tal caso si aggiunge circa un chilometro. Gli amanti delle passeggiate partendo dalle stazioni possono modificare questo percorso e camminare dalla stazione di 'Herentals' a quella di 'Zichem'.
Questa è una passeggiata particolarmente bella che attraversa diverse aree naturali che riteniamo belle. Passiamo per il dominio 'Teunenberg' a Olen. I domini 'De Beeltjens' e 'Kwarekken' a Westerlo. La 'foresta di Averbode' a Averbode. Ecc... Il percorso segue regolarmente tratti della GR5.
