Dockweiler è una comunità locale nella regione di Vulkaneifel in Renania-Palatinato. Essa appartiene alla comunità associata di Daun.
La prima menzione di Dockweiler si trova in un documento del re Corrado III, quando il 1 agosto 1144, dopo la morte del conte palatino Guglielmo, confermò i diritti e i possedimenti al monastero di Springiersbach e lo mise sotto la sua protezione. Dockweiler apparteneva fino alla fine del XVIII secolo al dominio imperiale di Kerpen, che era infine di proprietà del duca di Arenberg.
