Ostbevern si trova nel nord-est del Münsterland, a circa 20 km a nord-est di Münster e a 15 km a nord-ovest di Warendorf lungo il fiume Bever. Il confine nord-est forma il confine statale della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia con la Bassa Sassonia. I fiumi sono la Bever e l'Aa. I corsi d'acqua sono Wöstengosse, Langfortsbach, Breddewiesenbach, Frankenbach, Bockhorner Bach, Riedenbach. Il Gellenbach forma un confine di cinque chilometri con Telgte; la Lütke Beeke forma un confine di tre chilometri con Ladbergen. Le foreste sono Kattmanns Kamp, Loburger Park, Schirlheide, Hülsheide, Hülshorst. I campi sono: Schultenheide, Philippsheide, Schlichtenfeld, Schlangenbrink, Lilienvenn, Witthagen, Stoltebeensvenn, Rottwinkeler Heide, Brüskenheide, Pottheide, Wurzliche Heide.
