Il castello di Obernzell è un tempo un castello acquatico principe-vescovile a Obernzell nel distretto di Passau. L'edificio è registrato come monumento protetto con il numero di protocollo D-2-75-137-74. Il vescovo di Passau Georg von Hohenlohe iniziò la costruzione di un castello acquatico, che il suo successore Leonhard von Laiming completò nel 1426. Negli anni 1581-1583, il principe-vescovo Urban von Trennbach trasformò l'edificio in un rappresentativo castello rinascimentale.
