La Burbacher Hütte è un'ex fonderia di ferro fondata nel 1856 a Burbach, un quartiere della città di Saarbrücken.
Il 22 giugno 1856 un consorzio di industriali lussemburghesi fondò la Saarbrücker Eisenhüttengesellschaft - Société en participation des Forges de Sarrebruck. Fondamentale per la scelta della posizione fu da un lato la vicinanza alle fonti di materie prime, dall'altro la favorevole posizione di trasporto sullвід Saar.
