Il Castello di Caputh si trova nella frazione di Caputh del comune di Schwielowsee, vicino alla capitale del Brandeburgo, Potsdam, sul Lago Templiner. Fa parte della Fondazione Castelli e Giardini Prussiani di Berlino-Brandeburgo ed è stato, dalla fine del XVI secolo fino alla fine del XVII secolo, la residenza estiva delle principesse elettorali del Brandeburgo.
Il Castello di Caputh è l'unico castello conservato del paesaggio culturale di Potsdam risalente all'epoca del Grande Elettore Federico Guglielmo e del primo Barocco brandeburghese. È stato restaurato sostanzialmente dalla Fondazione Castelli e Giardini Prussiani dal 1995 al 1999 per un importo di nove milioni e mezzo di marchi, oltre a fondi della Fondazione Culturale Cornelsen.
