Klein Glienicke è un quartiere di Potsdam, noto all'inizio del XX secolo come località balneare e di svago. Durante la divisione tedesca, Klein-Glienicke era un'enclave funzionale e una "zona di sicurezza speciale" della Repubblica Democratica Tedesca, conosciuta anche come "appendice della DDR". Parte del luogo, comprese le famose case svizzere, sono incluse nella lista dei siti patrimonio dell'umanità protetti dall'UNESCO.
Klein Glienicke si trova ai piedi del Böttcherberg del Wannsee, tra il lago Griebnitzsee e il lago Glienicker, a sud-est del ponte Glienicker. Questo è l'unico quartiere di Potsdam situato sul lato nord-est, berlinese, del canale di Teltow e dell'Havel. Klein Glienicke è collegato a Potsdam solo tramite un ponte parco a corsia singola, originariamente destinato ai pedoni, che attraversa il canale di Teltow verso il quartiere di Babelsberg a sud-est. Il ponte Enver-Pascha, costruito anche per i veicoli, fu distrutto nel 1945.
