La chiesa di Santa Elisabetta è la chiesa cattolica romana di Tangerhütte, una piccola città nel sud della regione di Stendal in Sassonia-Anhalt. La chiesa, dedicata alla santa Elisabetta di Turingia, fa parte della parrocchia di Santa Anna a Stendal, nella diocesi di Magdeburgo, nel decanato di Stendal.
Con l'introduzione della Riforma, la regione divenne protestante. Con la costruzione della fabbrica di ferro di Tangerhütte, avvenuta dal 1842 al 1845, vicino al fiume Tanger e al villaggio di Vaethen, un gran numero di lavoratori si trasferì nell'originariamente prevalentemente agricolo villaggio di Vaethen, che si trasformò così in un polo industriale. Nel 1928 il villaggio assunse l'attuale nome di Tangerhütte e nel 1935 ottenne il diritto di città.
