L'Eurovision Song Contest 2014 è stata la 59ª edizione del concorso canoro, tenutasi a Copenaghen, capitale dello Stato vincitore dell'edizione precedente tenutasi a Malmö, il 6, 8 e 10 maggio ; precedentemente, l'UER aveva stabilito come date provvisorie il 13, 15 e 17 maggio.
La competizione canora, che ha visto per la prima volta alla serata finale Montenegro e San Marino, è stata vinta dall'Austria con la canzone Rise Like a Phoenix, interpretata da Conchita Wurst, che ha ottenuto il primo posto con 290 punti; l'unico finalista di diritto ad aver ottenuto una posizione fra i primi dieci alla serata finale è stata la Spagna.
