La casa Coll i Regàs è un edificio realizzato nel 1898 dall'architetto modernista Josep Puig i Cadafalch per un'importante famiglia borghese di Mataró.
Il passaggio dalla Renaixença al Modernismo significava l'abbandono dello storicismo romantico, nostalgico, che guardava al passato per assecondare una volontà rinnovatrice e modernizzatrice. In architettura, il modernismo rappresenta la transizione dalla tradizione costruttrice precedente alle tecniche d'avanguardia e l'opera di Puig i Cadafalch si integra perfettamente in questo movimento, dove si applicano nuovi materiali come il ferro e la ceramica e si recuperano i materiali tradizionali come il mattone.
