La battaglia della strada di Raate, fu combattuta tra Finlandia e Unione Sovietica durante la guerra d'inverno nel periodo compreso tra il 31 dicembre 1939 e l'8 gennaio 1940. La battaglia fu parte di uno scontro più ampio che si svolse in due fasi: la prima fu combattuta nel villaggio finlandese di Suomussalmi e la seconda sulla strada per Suomussalmi che passava attraverso il villaggio di Raate. La battaglia terminò con una vittoria delle truppe finlandesi su quelle sovietiche.
