Itinerario stupendo che percorre strade scolpite nella roccia. C'è un tratto non asfaltato di 3 km tra Villard-Notre-Dame e Villard-Raymond ma la strada è praticabile in moto. Si consiglia una sosta picnic al lago di Poursoullet per godere della freschezza del luogo. Il Pas de la Confession" tra Villard-Reculas e Huez è aereo e richiede cautela. La carreggiata è stretta e percorsa da numerosi ciclisti.
