Lo Stato Libero di Fiume era una città-stato del XX secolo formata dalla sola municipalità di Fiume, esistita tra il 1920 e il 1924, e ora parte della Croazia.
Lo stato fu formato con ciò che era la previgente Reggenza italiana del Carnaro, erede della Città ungherese di Fiume, cui fu aggiunta una striscia di territorio costiero già istriano atto a permettere la connessione diretta con l'Italia. Lo Stato confinava infatti con Castua, Gellegne, Viscovo, Čavle, e il comune italiano di Mattuglie.
