Pelješac 1 offre un equilibrato mix di sfide tecniche e discese appaganti lungo la frastagliata costa dalmata. Il percorso inizia subito con una durissima salita di 200 m su singletrack, prima asfaltato e poi sterrato, dove le pendenze ripide richiedono concentrazione. Nella prima parte, una brusca discesa di 125 m su singletrack sconnesso mette alla prova l’equilibrio, prima di una breve salita rocciosa di 60 m su fondo misto. A metà percorso, un tratto tranquillo su strade asfaltate costeggia il sereno Monastero della Madonna degli Angeli, offrendo un pacifico contrasto. Più avanti, un’altra discesa tecnica di 125 m su terreno irregolare conduce a tratti pianeggianti in riva al mare e attraverso aree urbane, alternando fatica e piacevole bellezza paesaggistica.
