Pozza di Fassa è una frazione di 2 276 abitanti di San Giovanni di Fassa nella provincia di Trento, in Val di Fassa.
L'abitato prese il nome di Pozza da un grande lago acquitrinoso, che si estendeva fino a sotto la Pieve di San Giovanni. Il lago si era venuto a formare a causa di un'immensa frana venuta giù dalla Costa sopra Santa Giuliana, mancando miracolosamente la Pieve ma distruggendo scendendo a valle, gran parte dell'abitato.
