Il monte Cònero è un rilievo dell'Appennino umbro-marchigiano alto 572 m s.l.m. situato sulla costa del mare Adriatico, nelle Marche. Il sinonimo monte d'Ancona, abbreviato comunemente in Monte, è storicamente il più usato. Solo dall'ultimo dopoguerra il termine Conero, fino a quel momento usato solo a livello colto, si è diffuso anche popolarmente. Fa parte della provincia di Ancona e in particolare del comune del capoluogo e di quello di Sirolo.
