La Torre di Re Federico è una torre di avvistamento sulla sommità del monte Erice, a circa 800 metri sul livello del mare.
La torre fu costruita nel XIII secolo per ordine di Federico II di Svevia , che utilizzò Erice come base strategica per il controllo della Sicilia occidentale . La Cattedrale Reale fu costruita nel XIV secolo. Questa era situata accanto alla torre di guardia che alla fine del XIV secolo fu trasformata in campanile con vetrate.
La Torre di Re Federico offre viste panoramiche sulla città e sulle colline circostanti. L'ingresso alla torre è gratuito e puoi salire fino in cima per goderti la vista spettacolare.
