Bellissimo percorso ciclabile lungo il lago glaciale della Marmolada con salite sul Passo Fedaia, il Col di Lana e il Passo Pordoi. Quello che l'Everest è per l'Himalaya, cioè la Marmolada per le Dolomiti. Dalla cima si possono vedere le Alpi austriache. Non c'è da stupirsi che durante la prima guerra mondiale ci siano stati molti combattimenti tra austriaci e italiani. Un'intera città nel ghiaccio fu scavata sottoterra dai soldati austriaci. Il Passo Fedaia, ai piedi del ghiacciaio, è regolarmente sul percorso di un giro del Giro. Maggiori informazioni nel libro 'Pedalando nelle Dolomiti'.
