Kaag, localmente anche frequentemente indicato come De Kaag è un paese nel comune di Kaag e Braassem, nella provincia olandese dell'Olanda Meridionale. Si trova sull'isola di Kager nel Kagerplassen. Il nome Kaghe o Caghe, che significa "terra dietro gli argini", appare per la prima volta nel 1308. I villaggi con lo stesso significato sono Koog aan de Zaan nell'Olanda Settentrionale e De Koog a Texel. Fino alla fine del XVI secolo, Kaag era il più grande villaggio dell'area di Alkemade. Essendo un'isola, tuttavia, Kaag non ha avuto e non ha molte possibilità di crescita.
