La Battaglia di Arnhem fu un'azione aerea e una battaglia durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale che si svolse dal 17 al 25 settembre 1944 nella città di Arnhem e nei suoi dintorni, come parte dell'Operazione Market Garden. È, dopo la Battaglia dell'Escalda, la più grande operazione nel territorio olandese durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Per gli alleati e per i Paesi Bassi fu in gran parte un fallimento poiché il ponte di Arnhem sul Reno non poté essere conquistato. Anche per questo motivo, il nord e l'ovest dei Paesi Bassi non furono liberati e dovettero affrontare l'inverno della fame.
