La rovina del castello di Teylingen è un'imponente roccaforte circolare che domina il paesaggio pianeggiante. Inizialmente esisteva solo un muro di cinta; la donjon fu aggiunta successivamente nel tredicesimo secolo. Oltre all'attuale roccaforte, c'era un ampio cortile, anch'esso circondato da un fossato. Qui, nel quattordicesimo secolo, sorse una comoda e lussuosa abitazione.
